Absences from school may be excused provided the parent or legal guardian provides the school with a written note or doctor’s excues. Each semester are allowed three parent notes. One parent notes covers one day missed. Anything beyond that will be unexcused. The parent’s note must be provided within five school days of the absence and include: student’s name, date of absence, reason for absence, parent/guardian’s name, phone number and signature.

Excessive Absences: 

Three (3) days- Parent contact

Five (5) days- Reported to State Attendance Officer/Parent Contact

Twelve (12) days- Adminstrative Review, 50/F in all classes missed for the year. Student will also be required to attend Saturday School to make up for missed instructional time, otherwise the student will be retained the next school year.
