    Colleges Attended: Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, University of Southern Mississippi, and William Carey University 

    Degrees:  Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Elementary Education, and Master of Elementary Education

    I've been teaching in Biloxi since 1999.

    I am married to Elton Bienvenue, and we have two sons, Adam and Luke.                   

    Favorites: teams, food, hobby, etc. I absolutely love watching my boys play football, soccer, and baseball. We are huge fans of the New Orleans Saints.  We love to go out on our boat and travel.  If I’m not doing one of those things with my family, I love to read. 

    Why I chose and enjoy education: I want to make a difference in the lives of as many students as I can.

Marsha Gaines - Music

    Hi! My name is Marsha Gaines.  I am married to Erwin "Scooter" Gaines. I have a beautiful daughter, Danielle, and a loveable Jack Russell/Whippet mix named Jack. I studied voice and guitar at the University of Southern Mississippi.  I have a Bachelors Degree in Recording Industry Management with a double Minor in Music Industry and Mass Communication from Middle Tennessee State University.  I received my Masters Degree in Education at William Carey University. I have written and produced award winning jingles, was a radio broadcaster, and have performed as a professional musician for over 40 years. I sing/play in a praise band at St. Alphonses in Ocean Springs and also sing and play keyboards/guitar in a local band called RAZZOO.  I recorded the theme song for the Mississippi Outdoors television show which was seen on MPBS for 5 years and is now on the Pursuit Channel.  I am a member of Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. I began my teaching career in 2004 as Band Director for Mercy Cross High School in Biloxi, MS and began teaching in the Biloxi School District in 2006.
